As a designer, I am sure you run into these scenarios all the time… the client is in love with a rug that is in her inspiration picture. You look all over to find that rug and spend lots of time trying to figure out where you can get that rug only to find out it is not available anymore. Or you had a specific look in mind and found the perfect pattern or type of rug you like, but it doesn’t come in the right color palette and you end up settling.

The perfect solution to this problem would be to custom design the rug especially for that room. This is a surefire way to get exactly what you want and keep true to the original vision of your masterpiece. You can customize the whole rug, from the design of the pattern, the colors, type of rug, all the way to the border, trim and bindings.

I know you are probably thinking, “Custom!, That’s too much work and will blow the budget! And I certainly don’t want to have to wait that long!” But that is TRULY NOT the case at least with us. You can create many of the custom area rugs for what many of the moderate in-stock wool rugs cost. We also have a big variety of vendors that use the latest technology and can efficiently produce the rug in as little as 2 months.

Whether you already have a pattern in mind or would like to design your own, we make the process as easy as 1-2-3.
1.You would just need to meet with us and provide a copy of your specifications, design and colors. You can create your own design, have us copy an existing design or pick a design from our huge selection of samples. From our convenient in-store color bank, you would select color poms to use in your design. You can match the colors of the poms directly with your color palette from the space.

2. Within a couple of days, the vendor will generate a free computer rendering of the rug.

3. Once the rendering is approved, if needed a sample can be generated within 2-5 weeks. After the selection is approved, it will go through a speedy production that can take as little as 2-3 months.

The next time you are stuck on area rug and broadloom options, consider going the custom route. You will have complete creative freedom that fits any style and budget imaginable and can be done in the same time as some of the in-stock mill rugs.
